How To Make Cabbage Rolls With Cauliflower Rice
INGREDIENTS
- 1/3 cup of diced onion
- 2 tsp of whole-leaf oregano
- ½ tsp of salt
- ½ tsp of pepper
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 ¼ lb 90-94% of lean ground meat
- 1 small head of kool cabbage (3 cups total)
- 1½ cups (1 small head) of cauliflower rice
- 1, 14.5-oz can diced tomatoes
INSTRUCTIONS
First, in a large bowl, mix together ground meat, onion, cauliflower rice, salt, seasoning, garlic and pepper.
Then take your prepared cabbage leaf (to prepare: boil for approx 6 minutes)
And fill each leaf with approximately ¼ cup of the meat/cauliflower mixture.
Then roll up each leaf like a burrito.
And spoon a thin layer of diced tomatoes into the bottom of the slow cooker.
And add the cabbage rolls, seam-side down.
after that, pour the rest of the diced tomatoes on top.
Cook HIGH for 2-3 hours or LOW for 4-6. Enjoy
