Ingredients For Mexican Taco Lasagna

Ingredients:

1 pound of ground beef
1 can Nacho Cheese Soup
1/4 cup sour cream
1 can Ro*Tel diced tomatoes with chilies (drained)
1 packet of taco seasoning mix
1/4 cup of water
1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
12 8-inch soft tortillas
Toppings (optional): guacamole, fresh cilantro, and additional sour cream

Mexican Taco Lasagna Instructions

Preheating your oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 9x9 baking dish.

In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef, breaking it apart. Once fully cooked, drain off any excess fat.

To the skillet, add taco seasoning and water, letting it simmer for about 2 minutes.

In a separate bowl, combine the drained tomatoes, nacho cheese soup, and sour cream. Mix in the seasoned beef.

Lay down 3 tortillas at the base of your baking dish. Layer on a third of your beef mixture.

Continue with the layering – tortillas followed by the beef mix. Finish with a final layer of tortillas on top.

Generously sprinkle cheddar cheese over the dish.

Place in the oven and bake for about 19 minutes, or until everything is bubbling and the cheese has melted beautifully.

Once baked, serve hot. Enhance your serving with a sprinkle of chopped cilantro, a dollop of guacamole, and some extra sour cream, if you like.

There you have it! A delightful and hearty Mexican Taco Lasagna that's perfect for both weeknight dinners and special occasions. Enjoy!
