How to Make Old Fashioned Custard Pie Recipe
To make this Custard Pie you'll need the following ingredients:
Custard Pie Ingredients
- 1 unbaked pie shell (I use Marie Callendar’s deep dish)
- 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- 2-2/3 cups of milk
- 1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
Instructions
Please follow these directions to prepare this easy Custard Pie:
Start by heating the oven to 350 degrees. And beat your eggs slightly, and added sugar, vanilla, salt, nutmeg, and milk. Then beat well and pour into the unbaked pie shell.
And after that Bake for 36 to 41 minutes. Then remove from the oven and cool. And sprinkle the top of the pie with fresh ground nutmeg then serve. And Enjoy!
