Copycat: These were so easy and came out perfectly! Just like the original. I made my own buttermilk because I didn’t have any, used fresh garlic rather than powder, and skipped the parsley for the same reason. I could see parsley adding a nice slight flavor to it, but not necessary.
Copycat Red Lobster Biscuits Recipe
This recipe is a winner. Light and flakey! If you don’t have a pastry cutter, just use your hands to break up the butter and mix the ingredients. Love these!
INGREDIENTS:
- 4 cups all-purpose baking mix
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 ⅓ cup water
- ½ cup butter, melted
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- ⅛ tsp onion powder
- ¼ tsp dried parsley
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375.
In a large bowl, combine baking mix, cheese, and water.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Using a small scoop place dough on a sheet, spaced a couple inches apart.
Bake for 12 minutes.
Combine butter, garlic, onion, salt, and parsley.
Remove biscuits from the oven and brush with butter mixture immediately.
Makes 20 biscuits.
